The adidas Consortium tour continues its second stop of 2016 to the Haight/Ashbury district of San Francisco, where sneaker shop Nice Kicks is set to open a brand new location. Teaming up with adidas, the Austin-based sneaker store design the Boost-laden Adidas NMD R1 Mens with red/black tie-dye print uppers to commemorate their new home’s hippie roots, much like how HUF skateshop designed their Nike SB Dunk High. These will drop exclusively at the new NK SF shop on 147 Haight St. as well as on their online shop on Saturday, February 6th.

The adidas Madoru, a simple, lightweight, and inexpensive running shoe model, receives an update this spring for its second edition. However, the Madoru 2 becomes a little more noteworthy than the first edition, thanks to its seeming inspiration from the Adidas NMD R1 Womens that’s all the rage right now. Look at the midsole color blocking and you can see what we’re talking about.

The Adidas NMD R1 Cheap closed out adidas Originals’ awesome 2015 in a way that nobody expected. The lifestyle and running qualities of the slip-on model paired Boost technology with a unique upper for a look that fits right into adidas’ current release slate. Now the Adidas NMD R1 Sale is getting a collaboration from Nice Kicks in the near future. The Austin-based sneaker specialists redefine the upper with the iconic combination of red and black while their logo and wordmark grace the heel tab.
