Switch the printer on and link it to the WiFi router by following the exact steps as described in the write up the first section.
Now download the printer software, and install it. Visit HP website to do the same
Select the choice "Tools and Printers" in the section "Control Panel."Then click on "Add printer: option present in the new window's top right corner.
Tap on your printer model's name in the printer list here.
Click the "Next" option from the new window as the last move, after which your HP Desktop 3050 printer connects to Windows.
