So, the Delhi Slutwalk/Besharmi Morcha went off peacefully a little much more than a week ago despite opposition from some quarters. 700 people attended, which is not a small quantity, particularly when you think about that this protest was organised by a little group of college students, with little entry to mass press or any major campaign support.

Not that ladies shouldnt have the right to wear what we want, but it is not just about clothing it is about discovering any justification at all to harass ladies becoming in the incorrect location, at the wrong time, being out at all in a nation like India, clothes are not the only or initial justification utilized.

Slutwalk worldwide was about womens right to live safe and unharassed and women wore many different kinds of clothes at protests about the world. And lastly, dont our journalists see the irony of utilizing language like dress provocatively when reporting on a rally where the entire point is that it is criminals who assault, not victims or clothes that provokes?
